Bio

R-Truth knows all about hard times. Growing up in the rough neighborhoods of Charlotte, NC, he admits he made some bad decisions in the past. But, R-Truth believes those choices have sculpted him into a much more formidable opponent in the ring.

For Truth, his talent is a blessing. He believes he has been given a second chance in life and has no intention of wasting it.

After spending some time in prison, Truth realized that a change was needed from within to get away from a life of crime—a change that has brought him to WWE and a much more positive life. Truth wanted to keep far away from the path he took growing up, and WWE turned out to be his light at the end of the tunnel.

Since making his debut in WWE, Truth has excited members of the WWE Universe young and old with his high-octane offense and rap stylings. But anyone who gets on his bad side inevitably faces a harsh reality: “The Truth” hurts.

Breakdown

The “truth shall set you free,” but so will the fact that R-Truth has an aggressive ability set for a mediocre Superstar attribute-wise. He’s got some of the coolest Signature move and Finisher names, and they all do great damage to the head.

Use the combination of a Truth or Consequences Signature move and a Corkscrew Axekick Finisher to set up the opponent to quickly enter a groggy state—if they kick out of your pin attempt.
