In some areas, Fodder set up safety cones and begin constructing traps. During the construction, these Fodder do not attack and are vulner-able to your attacks. Traps can be destroyed by hitting them with ground slam attacks. Some traps can take more damage, so you will have to use more than one attack to destroy them.
Spike Trap
Spike traps are pretty common traps. Fodder like to build them in front of switches or doorways to stop you from getting where you need to go. If you touch a spike trap, you lose all your health and respawn. Therefore, be careful around these traps. A ground slam attack next to a spike trap destroys it so you can then move across the ground without getting hurt.
Cannon Trap
While not actually a trap, Fodder like to build these in the middle of areas. Consisting of a cannon set on a tall turret, cannon traps fire cannon balls at you that cause a lot of damage if they hit you. Destroy cannon traps as quickly as possible.
They often can fire only in certain directions, so try to get in behind the cannons and ground slam attack them. These take several attacks to destroy. Cannon traps can fire from off-screen, so if you start getting hit by explosions, look for the cannon trap and move in close to destroy it.
Barrier
The last kind of trap is the barrier. Fodder like to build these in front of doorways or exits to prevent you from getting to items or moving to new areas. These often take several hits by ground slam attacks before they are destroyed. If you have a cannon, drive one over
and fire at a barrier to get it out of your way.
