Disney Universe eGuide Essentials HEX's Bots

Fodder

HEX does not want you to rescue the guests trapped in the Disney Universe. Therefore, HEX has taken control of all the bots and turned them against you and all the other guests. While the bots were originally designed to be harmless, they now attack you on sight.

All of the bots in Disney Universe are dressed in costumes to fit in with the various worlds. Therefore, the bots in the Pirates of the Caribbean world are dressed as British soldiers in their redcoat uniforms or as parrots, while the bots in the Lion King world are disguised as animals.

Fodder are the basic bots and the main soldiers in HEX’s army. They come in two different varieties and attack you at all times and in all places.

Standard Fodder

The most common bot in the Disney Universe, the standard Fodder is humanoid in appearance with two arms and two legs. Fodder can attack with their hands, though they are often armed with a tool similar to that carried by characters of their particular world.

Some Fodder can carry ranged weapons such as ray guns or rifles, which allow them to attack you from a distance.

In addition to attacking, Fodder also like to move important items. Don’t be surprise if they walk off with a key or move objects you need away from you or out of position.

Some Fodder construct traps or activate levers and switches—especially when these can hurt you. Fodder can ride animals and they will use the animals to attack you.

Fodder often attack you in groups rather than one at a time. They are much more dangerous in groups. Use simple attacks chained together so that you get a finishing move when attacking them.

The ground slam attack or uppercut slam both work well because these combos have an area effect and damage all enemies near the point of impact.

Flying Fodder

Flying Fodder are essentially Fodder with wings. These are actually one of the tougher types of Fodder since they not only fly around, but can also fire at you green projectiles that cause damage.

Flying Fodder also fly high enough that they can avoid your simple attacks. Instead of using these, face them and perform a jump attack so you can get high enough to hit them. Once hit by your tool, a Flying Fodder drops to the ground and is stunned for a few seconds. Quickly move in and finish it off before it recovers and takes off again.
