Book Quests

Six Book Quests become available from Sequence 04, Memory 04, with the seventh unlocked when the Arsenal district becomes available during Sequence 05.

All Book Quests work in the same way: after reaching the Memory Start marker in a suitably lofty position, Ezio must scan his surroundings with Eagle Sense to locate a specific glowing Polo Symbol.

With this initial task accomplished, travel to the waypoint and hold the Empty Hand button to retrieve the book. You can study notes on the books you have acquired in Book Quests in the library at the Assassin’s HQ.

Completing all Book Quests and purchasing every book sold by merchants unlocks the Sage Achievement/Trophy. This includes the four books only available in Cappadocia which, at an incredible combined price of 352,303  Yarins, might be somewhat beyond your means during your visit in Sequence 07.

You can, however, return there (either via the Replay Memory feature or by taking the boat available on a dock on the east side of the Galata district) to purchase them after you have completed the main storyline.
