Lightning Strikes |
20 |
Bronze |
Kill five guards in five seconds using only your Hidden Blades. The trick to this is to amass a large entourage of guards who do not wish you well, then incapacitate them in a huddle with a Smoke Screen bomb. Start with a double assassination on two opponents in close proximity, and you have a chance to hit the total before five seconds elapse. This requires more than a little luck to accomplish. |
|
Overkiller |
20 |
Bronze |
Assassinate 50 guards with the Hidden Blade; a milestone you should easily hit during the course of the story. |

|
Mouse Trap |
20 |

Almost Flying |
20 |
Bronze |
Parachute directly from the top of the Galata Tower to the Golden Horn waterway. From the very summit, flying directly south, you have just enough height to reach the water. |
|
Silent but Deadly |
20 |
Bronze |
Kill three guards simultaneously with Throwing Knives. This is simple: just use the Flying Knives technique (see page 143). |
|
I Can See You |
20 |
Bronze |
Kill five guards while under the cover of a Smoke Screen bomb. Craft a tactical explosive that offers maximum smoke dispersal (British Gunpowder + Phosphorous), then lure five opponents to a suitably enclosed location before you strike – ideally with an explosive with a more potent payload. |
|
Monster’s Dance |
20 |

Have a guard incapacitate three civilians while he’s poisoned (see overleaf). |

Unique Feats: Special Guidance
Spider Assassin
Begin your climb in the southwest corner of this astonishing building ( fig 1), and the remarkable feat of reaching its spire in under 25 seconds is easier than you might think – though you may need to make a couple of practice attempts beforehand.
Monster’s Dance
Though this feat can be accomplished with a little luck at any time you use poison in a confined space with plenty of civilians (such as the Grand Bazaar), a cynically inventive solution makes it easy to accomplish.
Simply pick a guard close to plenty of pedestrians, then hit him with a Poison Dart. When he draws his sword, run over to him and use the Throw Money move to bait the trap; digitally simulated avarice in the surrounding citizenry will do the rest for you ( fig 4).
Show-Off
The tower directly south of Galata Tower presents an opportunity for straight flight to a zipline further to the south ( 02). When you pass above the cord, press and hold the Empty Hand button to release the Parachute and have Ezio grab the zipline as he falls past it.
Mouse Trap
This may take a few attempts to perfect, but the required technique soon becomes apparent after a couple of trial runs. Craft three Caltrop bombs (Impact Shell + British Gunpowder + Caltrop), then travel to the Tailor shop in the north of the Imperial district.
Identify the scaffold ( fig 5), then run through the nearby archway to reach the docks. Engage the ire of at least two full patrols, then lead them on a chase back to the scaffold.
As you approach it, drop a Caltrop bomb directly in front of the wooden structure, then stand on the opposite side of the hazard to your opponents so that the maximum number are incapacitated as they sprint straight for you.
With this accomplished, quickly run past the scaffold again and press the Empty Hand button to bring it crashing down on the individuals standing below.
Note that any scaffold will suffice: we simply reference this one as it’s easy to find, and has a ready supply of guards in the vicinity.
Mosh Pit
You must at least purchase one (and, realistically, both) Poison capacity upgrades before you attempt this; it is also vital that you have not purchased the Fast Poison upgrade.
Travel to the Janissary camp in the far north of the Constantine district; it’s just west of the Gul Mosque, and is visited during the Honor, Lost and Won Memory in Sequence 06. You cannot enter via the front entrance, as this will cause the Janissaries to attack.
Instead, sneak in via a broken wall section from the nearby rooftops to the south ( fig 3). Stand on the wooden roof. With a full supply of Poison Darts, begin targeting the Janissaries below with darts, using the Camera Stick to shift between locked targets, and the Target Lock button to disengage once nearby victims have been dosed.
This can be a little fiddly, but don’t panic. Once you have poisoned those in the immediate vicinity, drop down and target those further south. As long as you are swift, it’s possible to have ten under the effects of poison all at once.
An alternative venue to attempt to accomplish this feat is the main courtyard in Topkapi Palace, though the Janissaries here are often much quicker to identify and attack Ezio.
