Everything you thought you knew about Battle Mode is completely out the window! It has been revamped for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with eight new battle maps to choose from and five different mode types where you can compete online and against friends. Twelve racers compete against each other, but some modes allow for six-on-six battles.
