Some enemies fall into groups where similar tactics are effective across the board. The following tips come straight from the experts; use them as general guidelines for dealing with certain enemy types, and build your strategies around them accordingly.
Robotic Enemies
Battery-Powered
- Drone
- ÜberSoldat
- Laserhund
Temporarily stun these foes with Handgranate plus the Electric Upgrade.
Laser Damage
All robotic enemies are sensitive to damage from laser weapons.
Diesel-Powered
- SuperSoldat
- Panzerhund
- Zitadelle
- Zerstörer
These foes have fuel lines that can be cut, which leaves a trail of fuel on the ground. Shoot the fuel trail, or hit it with a hatchet, to set it on fire. The fire follows the fuel trail to the enemy and causes an explosion, dealing a good chunk of damage.
Armor Plating
Some heavily armored enemies pose an extra challenge because of their high amounts of health. In these cases, try targeting the armor plates. Attack a plate until it falls off, then target the sensitive surface beneath to deal damage. Note that the Laserkraftwerk and Lasergewehr are capable of disintegrating armor plates.
Body Parts
Head: If an enemy has a head, the head is a weaker spot.
Arms: If an enemy has arms, shoot them off. Destroy both arms to destroy the enemy.
