Mission 3: Boundless Valor

The Central Park

Initial Force: 4 x Machine Gunners, 4 x SMG Soldiers, 8 x Riflemen

Objectives:

• Neutralize the German AA guns
• Eliminate the group of German spotters

Summary

Advance cautiously through the park and clear out the soldiers in the center. Then, send individual soldiers to infiltrate the position where three German Flak 38 anti-aircraft guns are located.

Take direct control and eliminate the crews of the guns using anti-tank grenades and frag grenades.

Once all three anti-aircraft guns have been destroyed, you gain access to an air strike. Call in the strike on the German spotters.

The German HQ

Reinforcements: 16 x Riflemen—divided into two equal squads

Objectives:

• Neutralize the German howitzers
• Capture the German HQ

Summary

Clear a path along the left side of town to let your troops get close enough to kill the artillery gun crews. Secure the area and take control of the guns.

Use the artillery to destroy the German barricades between you and the German HQ. Then, bombard the HQ itself as well as its defenders.

Once the area has been weakened, send in your squads to mop up and capture the HQ.
