Mission 2: Hard Day

The Village

Initial Force: 2 x Machine Gunners, 6 x SMG Soldiers, 8 x Riflemen—divided into two equal squads

Objectives:

• Dislodge the enemy from the village

Summary

Send both squads across the river. Then, sneak along the right map edge to get past the two lines of trenches andbehind the rear trench. Kill all of the enemies inside the trench.

Advance to the left, clearing out the Germans hiding in the houses. Finally, silence the machine gunner and the anti-tank gun.

Take the Hill

Objectives:

• Dislodge the enemy from the hill

Summary

Capture a machine gun and use it to suppress the Germans in the right trench on the hill so that one of your squads can snake past on the right flank. Kill the crews of the anti-tank gun and machine gun behind the trench, and then use them to help clear the trench.

Neutralize the machine gun and anti-tank gun behind the second trench, and clear the trench of all enemies.

The Highway

Objectives:

• Dislodge the Germans from the highway
• Hold your ground until reinforcements arrive

Summary

Bring anti-tank guns and machine guns from the hill to the railroad tracks, and eliminate the enemy in the buildings and trenches near the highway. Try to capture the two PaK 40 anti-tank guns by the road since their 75mm rounds work great against armor.

Set up your anti-tank guns by the houses next to the highway, and also back from the trenches. Position machine guns near the anti-tank guns to protect them. As German attacks come down the highway, take control of a PaK 40 and destroy as many of the tanks as you can. Hold the highway until the Russian tanks arrive.
