Disney Dreamlight Valley Crab Fishing

How to Catch a Crab in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Great for making money, not great for cooking

Unlike real-world crabs that are surprisingly common, the same can’t be said about those in Disney Dreamlight Valley. While they’re not exactly rare, they’re challenging to find since you can’t easily obtain them in the early game. Despite this, they’re still helpful in various recipes and sell for more money than the average fish, making it worthwhile to stockpile some. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to catch a Crab in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The main way to catch a crab is to head into Frosted Heights and cast your line towards blue fishing spots. White circles typically spawn fish like salmon and bass, while orange ones have White Sturgeon. If you’re specifically looking for a crab, focus on finding blue, bubbling circles in the water.

Another option is to use Moana’s Fishing Boat to catch them. While you’re not guaranteed to find a crab with Moana’s boat, leveling and occasionally checking it will grant you higher odds of getting one. If you have a high- or even max-level boat, you’re very likely to find at least one crab.
