Below are the steps for completing the “My Kingdom For a Scroll” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Gather the following items to craft the Micberry Tree: Softwood, Soil, Box of Electronic Components from WALL-E’s House.
  • Craft the Micberry Tree.
  • Place the Micberry Tree next to Scrooge’s Store.
  • Talk to Goofy.
  • Talk to Mother Gothel.
  • Find Scrooge McDuck’s Locked Chest at the Beach.
  • Find Scrooge McDuck’s Key in the Glade.
  • Bring the chest and key to Mother Gothel.

After speaking to Mother Gothel, she’ll give you the recipe for creating a Micberry tree, which you’ll use to eavesdrop on Scrooge’s conversation in his store. You need the following resources to make the Micberry Tree in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Softwood x50
  • Soil x30
  • Box of Electronic Components from WALL-E’s House x1

While softwood and soil are readily available in regions such as the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and the Glade of Trust, you’ll have to venture into WALL-E’s truck house for the last component. Upon heading inside, turn right and head past the table towards the boxes on the wall. You’ll find the electronic parts sparkling on the floor for you to pick up.

With your three resources in hand, head to any nearby crafting station to make the Micberry Tree. Place it near the store and begin eavesdropping to progress through the quest! Speak to both Goofy and Mother Gothel and, after learning that you must find a Locked Chest and Key, travel to both destinations!

To find the Locked Chest, head to Dazzle Beach towards the Mythical Cave. You’ll find a dig spot that houses the chest near one of the stone pillars. Dig this space to unearth the chest, allowing you to pick it up and progress to the second half of this adventure.

Similarly, to find Scrooge’s Key, travel to the Glade of Trust and start fishing! More specifically, head directly towards the large pond with the waterfall and begin casting your line towards the colored, bubbling circles. Once you obtain the key, return to Mother Gothel to proceed.
