Dubwool Weakness in Pokemon Sword and Shield

If you’re here, you’re here because you want to know what takes down a Dubwool. We don’t blame you. Sure, Wooloo are adorable and all but their older evolution just looks like it’d rather chew receipts all day and gore a Trainer who looked at it the wrong way. They evolve out of Wooloo at Level 24, so you don’t really get all that long with the pint-sized fluffy (and far superior) version of Dubwool before it’s all ogre. Now, it’s time to eliminate this second stage in its evolutionary tree.

So, you want to take down a Dubwool. Just like Wooloo, Dubwool is a Normal Type Pokemon, which means that as long as you pack a literal punch then you’re going to be fine. For those who can’t quite read between the lines, we’re talking about Fighting moves here. Just use literally any Fighting Type move in your arsenal and you’re guaranteed to kinghit this enemy. Take someone like a Pangoro, a Machop, a Timburr, or anything that looks like it could carry things about five time its own bodyweight – Pokemon design in Sword and Shield is pretty literal so if it looks like a bodybuilder then we reckon it’s definitely going to do the job. If you already have a Timburr, we have more here on unlocking its full potential by going through its evolutionary line so check out this guide that we’ve relinked for your convenience.

So now that you have a better idea of Dubwool’s weakness in Pokemon Sword and Shield, this overgrown wool producer should honestly be easy pickings. We don’t anticipate it putting up too much of a fight but if you needed to stomp the yard any harder when going up against one, well, now you can do just that. Hopefully, it doesn’t feel too cruel.
