Whether you’ve already found every brick and minikit or are just starting your adventures, these fun DLC packs for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will unlock new heroes and villains to preserve justice/wreak havoc as you romp through LEGO Manhattan. These additional characters are especially useful for the abilities that they afford you, so you can begin snagging Free Play goodies earlier than you normally would. Besides new characters, the Super Pack introduces two new vehicles to tear up the streets and skies with, as well as some new races to boot! Here’s who and what you’ll unlock with each pack.
Super Pack
Offering characters, vehicles, and races, the Super Pack is definitely super. You’ll find yourself introduced to some new big LEGO characters, multi-talented flyers, and acrobats. Some are familiar faces and some are new to LEGO Manhattan. Included are Rick Jones, A-Bomb, Thanos, Beta Ray Bill, Dark Phoenix, Falcon, Hawkeye (Classic), Spider-Man (Symbiote), and Winter Soldier. With these heroes and villains are the two new rides: the Spider Buggy is a nimble all-terrain vehicle that tears through the streets; when you’re done barreling through the boroughs by street, take to the skies on Hawkeye’s Skycycle. After you’ve gotten the hang of your new toys, challenge yourself through the 10 new races spread throughout the island. Five of these require you to drive the Spider Buggy, while the other five require you to pilot Hawkeye’s Skycycle.
Asgard Pack
With the alignment of the Nine Realms imminent, the Asgard Pack offers up a collection of new heroes and villains to roam the streets of Manhattan with. Included in this pack are two villains, the lumbering behemoth Kurse (Dark World) and the fiend Malekith (Dark World), the latter having a particularly useful ability set. In addition to the two villains are six heroes. The first and most useful of the group is Odin. Patriarch of Thor and King of the Norse Gods, Odin has a wide set of abilities that contrasts well with the nefarious Malekith. Jane Foster, Volstagg, Hogun, Fandral, and the acrobatic Sif round out the Asgard Pack’s offerings.
