There is one drawback, though. Upon speaking to Claree, the shop owner, she will explain that the rising cost of her grandmother’s medicine has forced her to increase the store prices. Instead of their usual amounts, each piece of Radiant armor is 5000 rupees! Even if you’re rich, that’s a high price tag.
Don’t worry; there is a solution to this dilemma. Finishing the Gloom-Borne Illness quest will reduce the Radiant armor prices to 600 rupees each or 1800 for all three pieces. Considering that it is 36% of the original amount, it’s definitely worth finishing this mission if you’re low on money and want to save up for other items. Just be prepared to travel far for items like Hylian Rice so you can cook some porridge.
Completing the Gloom-Borne Illness Quest
