Where to Find Hylian Rice in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
Hylian Rice is a staple in many of the recipes in Tears of The Kingdom. However, you might have trouble finding it early on. There are some traveling merchants you can find around the horse stables selling it, but that’s inconsistent at best.
The earliest place you can find Hylian Rice is at Lookout Landing’s General Store. That’s right, the very first town in the game will have Hylian Rice for you.

It will cost you 12 Rupees per piece, but you can pick up a few at Lookout Landing.
We recommend mixing Hylian Rice with Fresh Milk and Sundelions to create a porridge that will stave off the nasty effects of Gloom while you’re down in the Depths.
Hateno Village
If you’ve made it to Hateno Village at this point, you can also pick up even more Hylian Rice there. It costs the same as Lookout Landing, but if you need to purchase more, you can buy from both of these General Stores to get a whole bunch of Hylian Rice. This will be great for cooking whatever your heart desires.
