Spritzee Evolution in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Got your hands on a Spritzee, yeah? If not, we can sort that out really quickly for you. Unfortunately, if you’re someone that owns Pokemon Sword and not Shield, you’re going to only be able to get this bird via trading; it’s a version exclusive. We have a list of other version exclusives here for you if you like. However, if you’ve got Pokemon Shield, then you can catch this thing on Route 5, where it’s actually a decently plentiful local occurrence.

Once you have a Spritzee, whether you obtained it by trading, catching, or by deception, it’s time to evolve it into an Aromatisse. Now, you’re going to have to fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Give your Spritzee a Sachet
  2. Trade it

Now, the Sachet is a held item that your Spritzee will need to be in possession of in order to evolve when traded. There’s no other way to turn this perfumed bird into an Aromatisse. To get your hands on a Sachet, though, you’ll have to wait til you’ve basically gunned through the game because as far as we know, you can only acquire it using Battle Points. This currency is unlocked when you’re proficient enough to start farming the Battle Tower, which is a definitive end-game activity. A Sachet will cost you 10BP, so if you’ve got that in your wallet, go absolutely nuts before trading your Spritzee with a mate. Voila!

Now that you’re aware of the process of Spritzee evolution in Pokemon Sword and Shield, turning this little bird into an Aromatisse should be a piece of cake so long as you keep the evolution requirements in mind.
