How to Beat Bisons in ARC Raiders

Bisons are fast-moving droids with legs like a spider and an orb for a body that can quickly pounce on players. The first step to defeating a Bison in the wild is to shoot at its legs to strip them of their armor.

The legs will eventually pop off after taking enough damage and leave its orb eye unable to defend itself. Shoot the orb as it rolls around to finish off the Bison. Be sure to quickly loot the destroyed robot before other players come to your position, as the amount of bullets necessary to bring it down will easily attract others.

I cannot recommend fighting a Bison solo as its pounce can take you out pretty easily, while its follow-up attacks can finish the job before you even get a shot off. The best option if you have to is with a sniper rifle from a faraway position. Shooting from a higher elevation or from inside a building, if possible, is also recommended.

Bisons can leap massive distances, so they can quickly close the gap between you if you are not far enough. You should also have a higher rarity sniper rifle to deal more damage faster before it can get to you. Fighting a Bison with a full team is better because your teammates can distract it from different directions while you all constantly shoot at it. It will take a lot of bullets to bring a Bison down, and that is if you get the jump on it before it sees you.
