As you play Disney Dreamlight Valley, you may notice that Moana occasionally mentions Pua, her adorable pig companion who has yet to make an appearance in the game. Did you know that he does eventually show up, though? Not only will you encounter Pua in the game, but you can even turn him into a loyal companion who will travel alongside you throughout your playthrough. How to Unlock Pua as a Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Before you can unlock Pua as a companion, you’ll have to complete Moana’s friendship quest titled “The Search for Pua”. Throughout this mission, you’ll track down the pig using various clues. Below will detail each of the four main parts of The Search for Pua.

How to Track Pua During The Search For Pua Quest

Throughout the quest, you’ll have to visit various locations and looks for clues to track down Pua. Below are each of the four spots and the clues you’ll have to find:

  • Dazzle Beach: Look for the half-buried coconut near Moana’s Fishing Boat.
  • Peaceful Meadow: Look for glowing, yellow hoofprints on the ground near the southwestern pond.
  • Plaza: Head to Chez Remy and find the burger toppled onto the floor.
  • Forest of Valor: Search for a large Night Thorn bush. Clear these out to save Pua.

Once you reach the end of this quest line, you’ll finish the mission and unlock Pua as a companion.

How to Access Your Disney Dreamlight Valley Companions List

You can find all your unlocked companions by entering your inventory, your Wardrobe menu, and selecting Companions. You’ll see Pua in this list alongside any other animals you’ve encountered along the way. Tap Pua’s icon to make him your companion! He’ll now follow you around where ever you go.
