Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Search For Pua Quest Guide

Below are the steps for completing the “The Search For Pua” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Follow Moana to the Fishing Boat.
  • Talk to Moana.
  • Track Pua in the Meadow.
  • More Pua hoofprints! Talk to Moana.
  • Track Pua near the Restaurant.
  • Leftover food! Talk to Moana about it.
  • Track Pua in the Forest.
  • Free the little pig from the Night Thorns.
  • Pick up the new Leader Shard.
  • Give Moana the new Leader Shard.

After speaking to Moana, you’ll have to head to her fishing boat to start the quest. She’ll remark that Pua is missing and left behind a half-buried coconut. Your character deduces that Pua must’ve escaped into Peaceful Meadow. Travel here to progress further!

Upon arriving in Peaceful Meadow, your next task is to search around for clues of Pua’s whereabouts. Search the area for glowing, yellow hoofprints to lead you in the right direction. While doing this doesn’t pinpoint Pua’s precise location, it’ll provide clues on where he might’ve ventured. This is exactly what happens as Moana suspects he went to Remy’s restaurant to look for food. Head here for the next part of this quest!

The immediate clue you’ll spot at the restaurant is a spilled dish, presumably a burger, on the ground. After noticing this and speaking to Moana again, she’ll realize that Pua was recently here and must’ve run somewhere close by. Your final stop is in the Forest of Valor, also known as the perfect place for a scared little pig to hide if it’s startled by two humans.

Run through the Forest of Valor until you spot a large bundle of Night Thorns. What will you find inside these thorns, exactly? Pua! You’ll have to clear out the thorn bush using your magical power to save him. Doing this will cause a Leader Shard to drop, so make sure you have enough inventory space for it! Give the shard to Moana to wrap up the Search For Pua quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can also equip Pua as a companion by navigating to Wardrobe > Companions!
