Ghost of Yōtei Pre-Order Bonus, Pricing and Editions Detailed

PlayStation dropped a brand new trailer for Ghost of Yōtei on a random Wednesday, along with its release date and several other details about the upcoming follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima. Sucker Punch didn’t hold back and showcased their latest title in all its cinematic glory and plenty of violence.
Ghost of Yōtei is coming out later this year, and here is everything you need to know about its pre-order bonus content, pricing, the various editions you can purchase, and when you can start pre-ordering on the PS5.
Ghost of Yōtei Pre-Order Bonus Content
If you pre-order Ghost of Yōtei, you will receive a unique in-game mask, as well as a set of seven PSN avatars featuring concept art of Atsu and each member of the Yōtei Six.
I’m not entirely sure if the mask is simply a cosmetic item or if it provides any in-game bonus as well. The PSN avatars are pretty standard and look quite nice.

Ghost of Yōtei Digital Deluxe Edition
The digital deluxe edition of Ghost of Yōtei costs an additional $10 and comes with the following extra content:
- The Snake Armor Set
- Digital Deluxe Armor Dye
- Digital Deluxe Horse and Saddle
- Charm
- Sword Kit
- Traveler’s Map – Allows you to find statues throughout the world to upgrade your skills
Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition
Finally, the physical Collector’s Edition for Ghost of Yōtei will also be available through PlayStation Direct and select retailers. It’s packed with the following content:
- All of the pre-order bonuses.
- All in-game items from the Digital Deluxe Edition.
- Digital copy of Ghost of Yōtei
- Replica display edition of Atsu’s Ghost mask (6.8 x 5 x 5.9 inches)
- Replica of the Tsuba from Atsu’s katana.
- Replica of Atsu’s sash, complete with the names of all six members of the Yōtei Six.
- A pouch of coins and instructions to play Zeni Hajiki.
- Foldable papercraft ginkgo tree along with a wolf at its base.
- A set of four 5 x 7-inch art cards featuring the sash, the wolf, Atsu’s Ghost mask, and key art.
The pricing for the Collector’s Edition isn’t available yet, but we’ll know soon enough.

Pre-orders for Ghost of Yōtei begin on May 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET.
Ghost of Yōtei Release Date
Ghost of Yōtei is coming exclusively to the PS5 and PS5 Pro on October 2, 2025. Check out the new trailer featuring the Yōtei.
It’s great to finally get a release date for Sucker Punch’s newest title, though I was expecting this reveal at some PlayStation State of Play event. Either way, I can’t wait to see what they have been working on or the past few years.
