How To Increase Health And Stamina In Tears Of The Kingdom

Pray for these goods.

Let’s face it: you won’t survive if you stay on three hearts forever in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. As you continue your journey throughout the lands of Hyrule, enemies will hit harder and faster, leaving you sprawled on the ground in a matter of seconds. If you’re hoping to keep up with the enemies around you, you will need to upgrade your health and Stamina as quickly as possible. But how do you make this happen? Let’s jump from the Sky Islands onto the grounds of Hyrule to figure this one out.

As you make your way through the prologue in the Sky Islands, you’ll reach a point where your three hearts aren’t going to cut it. Before you can open the door and leave the Temple of Time, you’ll need to pray before the Statue of the Goddess with the Four Lights of Blessings from the Shrines in the Sky Islands; you can upgrade your hearts with an extra container, making you strong enough to leave these lands behind… For now, at least.

However, did you know that you can also upgrade your Stamina Wheel at these statues, as well? As you make your way through the lands of Hyrule, you’ll encounter plenty of Shrines. Completing these puzzling rooms will grant you one Light of Blessing. After you have gathered four of them, you can revisit any of the Statues of the Goddess that you have encountered on your journey to exchange them for either another heart container, increasing your maximum health, or an addition to your Stamina wheel, so you can continue running and climbing for longer.

Complete the puzzle within to unlock another Blessing of Light, and start getting stronger by the day. There are well over 100 shrines throughout the lands, so you’ll have plenty of locations to find and puzzles to look forward to as you continue through Tears of the Kingdom.
