It was only a matter of time before players figured out a way to bring dual-wield pistols to Warzone 2 in some capacity. Rather than revolvers or the Diamatti, the P890 is the new option for overpowered akimbo sidearms, and you’ve likely already seen them around Al Mazrah.
The P890 sidearm has a fantastic mix of damage and fire rate which allows it to function as one of the best close-quarters options for a secondary without Overkill perks. But to make the most of the akimbo build, you’ll need the right attachments. In this loadout guide, we’ll go over all the pieces you need for the pistols to flourish.
Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best P890 Akimbo Loadout
For any akimbo loadout in Call of Duty, nearly all of the attachments should help with mobility and hip fire accuracy. We need to make up for the loss of ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds should be lightning fast. You can find all the attachments needed for the build below.
- Receiver: P890
- Muzzle: FT Steel Fire
- Rear Grip: Akimbo P890
- Trigger Action: Bruen Express
- Laser: 1mw Pistol Laser
- Magazine: 12 Round Mag
The most important attachment in this build is the Akimbo P890 rear grip slot. This changes the entire dynamic of the weapon and you’ll no longer be able to ADS, but you’ll get two hip fire pistols in return. Damage is doubled in theory, but we need to make up for lost accuracy and speed.
Our main fixes for those stats are the FT Steel Fire muzzle and the 1mw Pistol Laser. The Steel Fire will help a ton with bullet velocity and damage range, which is integral for fights beyond point blank. Then the laser attachment will give tons of hip fire accuracy at the cost of a visible laser.
To finish up the loadout on the P890 in Warzone 2, we need the Bruen Express trigger and the 12 Round Mag. The new trigger will give the weapon a higher fire rate while the mag ensures that you don’t instantly run out of ammo in a fight.
