Best Characters for the Vourukasha’s Glow Artifact Set in Genshin Impact

A set made for a specific characters has to be broken on it, right?

Sometimes new characters receive their dedicated Artifact Sets along with their releases like Wanderer, but that’s not always the case. Dehya didn’t have a really good set for her until Genshin Impact 3.6 arrived, dropping the Vourukasha’s Glow set hidden in a domain at the newly-introduced area.

Found in the Molten Iron Fortress, there’s already a clear best user for it, but are there more characters that would benefit from farming this whole 4-piece set with the best stats possible?

Genshin Impact – Vourukasha’s Glow Artifact Set Effects

Vourukasha’s GlowDescription
2-piece effect:HP + 20%
4-piece effect:Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG Bonus is increased by 80% for 5s. This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.

The description is somewhat deceiving. Its full set effect stacks multiplicatively and not additively, so the final bonus is 50% DMG instead of 410%. Burst-reliant characters would still want it, but they would need to stack it first.

Best Characters for the Vourukasha’s Glow Artifact Set

1 – Dehya

Being currently the only character in the game who can willingly damage herself when off-field, there’s no denying that the set was made especially for her. It pushes her to a more Burst-oriented playstyle just like Embled of the Severed Fate, another popular choice for her. But depending on your team, you might want to pair her with another energy battery to Burst consistently.

2 – Nilou

What she really wants is actually the 2-piece effect. Combined with Tenacity of the Millelith, she can now gain 40% extra HP from set effects alone, maximizing her Bloom potential. A full set is not recommended as Nilou’s Burst is not particularly known for being powerful.

Honorable Mentions

Any HP-scaling character like Kokomi or Candace can make good use of its 2-piece effect, but willingly taking damage to have a slightly more powerful Burst is not something that many characters would be pleased by doing. Xiao and Hu Tao can do that, but Hu Tao usually prefers Crimson Witch or Shimenawa’s, while Xiao’s Burst doesn’t even deal damage at all and it’s only a self buff.

Is It Worth Farming For the Vourukasha’s Glow Artifact Set?

Vourukasha does give Dehya more damage, so it’s the go-to option if you want her to dish out some bigger numbers. But she has various options for sets, and this is just a new one among them. If you just happened to get her on the Standard Banner, it could be worth getting that set.

But if you’re thinking about farming the Molten Iron Fortress solely for having the full set on Dehya, farming more Emblem pieces might be a more efficient call. Various characters need those, and the Emblem set also offers a similar effect to Vourukasha’s while also giving some more Energy Recharge. Shimenawa’s Reminiscence (the other set from this domain) also has a good jack-of-all-trades 2-piece effect, let alone its efficient 4-piece.

If you have lots of characters who benefit from extra HP, farming the domain might be a very efficient thing to do, especially if those characters happen to be Hydro. Yelan is a prime example as she’s completely viable with a 2-piece Hydro% + 2-piece HP% set. She’s only one example and there are various reasons you could be tackling this domain.
