Razar has taken control of the Gorilla Striker mech and is using it to try to defeat Laval and his friends. This boss battle is easier if you switch to Eris. Start shooting at the mech to inflict damage on it.
Watch for the Gorilla Striker to squat down. This lets you know it is about to jump and to try to stomp on you. Be ready to jump to one side to get away from it. Then start firing at it again. Repeat this tactic to hit the mech without being damaged yourself.
After the Gorilla Striker has taken some damage, Razar changes up his tactics. Now the Gorilla Striker launches bombs at you. Watch for the targeting icons to appear on the ground and jump out of the way of the bombs. Razar also mixes up the bombs with jump attacks.
When the Gorilla Striker falls down and a hatch opens, switch to Gorzan and power punch the red switch.
Razar resumes his jump attacks. However, after each jump, the Gorilla Striker is stunned for a few seconds. Rush in and attack it while it is down.
If you want some extra power to your attacks, jump onto the vines hanging at the front of the boss arena. Swing to the right and jump across to a platform with a Chi pad. Power up and then use slam jump attacks for more damage.
Use Gorzan’s power punch when the Gorilla Striker falls down again. Then move forward and assemble a pile of bricks into a spring pad.
Slam jump on the pad to get up to some swing bars. Swing across these bars until you are over the Gorilla Striker, then drop down onto it.
Press the Attack button rapidly to fight against Razar. After defeating him, you take control of the Gorilla Striker.
As Razar runs around, press the Attack button to fire bombs at him. Aim ahead of him so that he runs into the bombs as they explode.
You can also make jump attacks. This takes careful timing so that you can land on Razar as he is moving from right to left in front of you. Keep up the fight until Razar is finally defeated and the level is complete.
