Objective 1: Get to the Base of Spiral Mountain

Laval begins in the jungle and must get past several obstacles in order to get to the base of Spiral Mountain. Before beginning your trek, backtrack to the left to pick up some extra studs and then continue on your way to the right.

Some of the first obstacles you encounter are fallen trees. The first tree you can jump over. However, the second has a gap you can slide under. Just move towards it and when you touch the slide pad, Laval will automatically slide beneath the tree.

When you get to what appears to be a dead end at a ledge, attack the pink plant and break it into pieces. Then stand next to the pieces and hold down the Action button to assemble the bricks into a jump pad. Jump up onto the jump pad and hold down the Jump button until Laval is bouncing high enough to get to the top of the ledge.

As you approach a stream, a couple of crocodiles drop in to stop you. Use Laval’s attacks to defeat them and then pick up a lever dropped by one of the enemies before continuing towards the stream. Follow the green arrow on the screen to see where the lever goes. Press the Action button to insert the lever into the crank. Press the Action button again to start using the crank and then follow the on-screen prompt to turn the crank and lower the bridge. Once the bridge is down, move on it and then jump across to two floating bridge segments to get to the other side of the stream.

Continue to the right until you get to the quicksand. Get the studs out in the quicksand and then jump up to the hanging vine on the left. Move left and right to swing on the vine. Jump across to a second vine and then keep swinging so you can jump over to the ledge on the right.

Keep moving towards a waterfall. Defeat the crocodiles who attack you and then pick up a lever they drop. Place it into the turnstile and then turn it to raise a series of steps from the pond at the base of the waterfall. Jump onto the steps and then leap up to grab the handholds on the side of the waterfall. Watch out for falling logs as you leap across to the handholds on the left. Then move up to the higher handholds before making your way back to the right to a ledge with a tree. Break the tree and then slide down the claw wall. Assemble the pieces into a jump pad and use it to get to the top of the ledge.

Lennox Character Token

Keep hacking your way through obstacles to get to a large, hollow log. This log has three turrets that fire at you. There are also spears that pop up from the ground along the path. Attack the turrets to destroy them before they fire at you. Once all three are destroyed, a character token for Lennox appears inside the hollow log. Collect it and continue to the right.

When you get to a tall lion pillar, move next to it and press the Action button to Roar, topple the pillar, and create a ramp you can use to get to the top of a wall. Drop down from the wall on the right-hand side.

More crocodiles attack you in the yard at the bottom of the walls. Defeat them, then stand on the pad to lower a short claw wall. Stand near the wall and press the Action button to make Laval jump and climb up the wall. Then press the Jump button to scale the pounce walls to get to the top. Walk across to the right, avoiding the spears, and then slide down another claw wall to get to a lower courtyard where you must battle some more crocodiles.

Longtooth Character Token

After clearing out the crocodiles in this area, destroy the two boulders at the end of the stream flowing from the walls. A fish will bring you a character token to thank you for clearing the path to the lake.

Free Play Bladvic Character Token Use Chi to power up your character while down in the courtyard. Then pull the super strength handles on the lion head on the left side of this area to access the character token for Bladvic.

Free Play Skinnet Character Token While in the Lion courtyard, switch to a crocodile and sink down into the water. Move through a gap in the back wall while underwater and emerge in a chamber with a lever and four pressure pads on the floor. Pull the lever and then watch the order in which the red lights on the wall turn green. Then jump on the pressure pads in that same order. Once you complete this, a character token will flow down a chute into a small pool on the right side of the room.

Move to the far right side of the courtyard and attack the winch to drop a pallet of bricks down to the ground. Assemble the bricks to complete a climbing wall that you must climb to get to an upper platform. The machinery to open the gate is located there.

Pick up a gear near the machinery and place it into position. Then move to the left and attack a tree until a second gear drops down. Carry it to the machinery and put it in place. Now move the lever to open the large gate below. Once the gate is open, drop down to the courtyard and exit through the gate to finally reach Spiral Mountain.
