Objective 3: Defeat Cragger

When you reach the summit of Spiral Mountain, Cragger is waiting for you. He has created a machine and is going to put the Golden Chi Orb into it to gain Triple Chi Power. Before you can stop him, Cragger drops a cage over Laval.

Use your Chi to power up Laval so he can break out of the cage.

Laval stays powered up for several seconds. Use slam attacks to quickly defeat the crocodiles that Cragger sends to attack you. Laval stays powered up for several seconds. crocodiles until Cragger enters the fight.

Cragger is powered up with Chi, so he is tough to defeat. Watch the ground near your feet. When a target icon appears on the ground, move away. The icon shows you where Cragger will land his slam attack. If you are anywhere near it, you take damage. However, after he lands, he is stunned for a few seconds. Rush in and attack.

In addition to his slam attacks, Cragger also makes charge attacks where he spins around to inflict a lot of damage. Stay away while he is spinning, then move in to attack while he recovers. After Cragger has lost half of his health, he jumps up on the machine and calls in more crocodiles to attack you. Fight them off and he will eventually rejoin the fight.

Continue the fight using the same tactics as you did during the first half of the battle. Once Cragger is defeated, he escapes and leaves Laval on the top of Spiral Mountain with a machine that is overloading from too much Chi.

The explosion releases Chi orbs across the landscape of Chima. While you only had one orb that you used to break out of the cage, from now on you can collect these orbs as you progress through the story. When you have enough, use the Chi to power up. Laval leaves Spiral Mountain and returns to the Lion Temple Hub.
