Part of the fun of becoming a legend is collecting rewards. There are lots of rewards in LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey, so be sure to get them all.
Studs
Studs are the currency in LEGO games, and Chima is overflowing with them. You’ll find studs just lying around, waiting to be collected, and you can discover many more simply by smashing stuff. Studs come in four colors, each with a different value.
Silver studs are worth 10 studs.
Gold studs are worth 100 studs.
Blue studs are worth 1,000 studs.
Purple studs are worth 10,000 studs.
Not only can you use studs to purchase things, you need to collect them in each of the ten levels to earn the True Legend award. Each level has a certain number of studs that must be collected to earn this award. A meter appears at the top of the screen as you are collecting studs to show your progress towards the True Legend award.
Collectibles
There are several types of collectibles found in LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey. Character tokens unlock characters that you can then purchase at the shops in the Lion Temple hub. Find treasure and take it to specific characters in the game and they will unlock Extras for you. In the hubs, you can also find tribe bios and location bios that help tell the story of the characters and areas in the game. Finally, each hub has a wheel that you must find. If you are going for 100% completion for the game, you need to find each and every collectible. The chapters covering the levels and hubs have maps and directions to show you how to get all of the collectibles.
Extras
Extras provide extras to enhance your playing experience. Extras are unlocked by finding treasures and taking them to characters in the game. You then must go to the shops in the Lion Temple hub and purchase each Extra. Finally, go to the Extras menu and activate an Extra to take advantage of its effect. Most Extras are fairly expensive, so save up those studs.
