Link
Our young hero. At the end of a very unusual day he is transformed from a typical Skyloft schoolboy into a great adventurer. Link wields the Goddess Sword and is tasked with exploring the long-lost surface world.
Zelda
Link’s best friend, who’s known him since his childhood. Zelda usually watches out for Link, but she’s gone missing after being caught in a sudden, mysterious windstorm.
Headmaster Gaepora
Zelda’s father, who administers the Knight Academy where Link was studying. He knows much about the history of Skyloft and fears that Zelda’s disappearance is the beginning of something great and terrible.
Groose
Link’s rival, who is deeply jealous of Link’s close relationship with Zelda. Although he has a bullying personality, his affection for Zelda is genuine and he can be a loyal friend when he wishes.
Fi
A mysterious woman who says she’s the spirit of Link’s new Goddess Sword. A faithful servant of the goddess, Fi pledges to aid Link in his journey through the surface world.
Ghirahim
He calls himself a Demon Lord and clearly possesses incredible powers. He takes an unwholesome interest in taunting Link and finding ways to stop his journey through the surface world.
