How to fix Valorant error code 43

Two updates went live this week for Valorant players including a much smaller one that was implemented on April 29th. The update provided improved character models, a few tweaks to gameplay, and more but it also brought with it the frustrating error code 43. The good news though is that this is actually a pretty easy fix!

After updating the game, many players have reported seeing Valorant error code 43 when they get into the game when attempting to connect to the Valorant servers. You’ll also get super comfy with the loading screen and while that’s cool and all, that’s not what we are looking to play. So let’s get rid of that error code, shall we?

You know the meme about “have you turned it off and turned it back on again?” Yeah, do that. Completely close out of your game, reboot your computer – safely – and then boot back up. Once you’ve give your PC some time to breathe in terms of the reboot, you can go back into the launcher and open up Valorant like normal. If for some reason that didn’t do the trick, try leaving your computer off for 30 seconds as if you were rebooting your router.

As for Valorant, the game, there is a lot to enjoy in the closed beta right now including recent character model changes and continuous feedback from players that are getting in on that competitive action. We also just whipped up our Valorant tier list, that can be found here, for those looking to see where their favorites stack.

As for the game itself, the Valorant closed beta is still going on, though for how long we aren’t sure. That being said, the team over at Riot Games did open up access to more people by providing code giveaways for all Valorant streams. It will be interesting to see how Valorant continues to evolve with so many eyes on where this game will take both the online gaming world and the realm of esports.

Now that you know how to fix the Valorant error code 43, what are your thoughts on the online title so far?
