Where to Find the Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy’s open world allows you to explore nearly every part of your school, nearby towns, and the surrounding environment. Whether walking around the Quidditch field or flying across the map, there are plenty of places to check out. The school alone has many different areas and secrets to find, including the four living spaces for each student. Where to Find the Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy

When you think about making your way to each common room, you’d likely think of the Grand Staircase. After all, it’s this staircase that connects them! However, if you already have the South Wing Faculty Tower Floo Flame unlocked, you’ve solved the difficult part of this puzzle.

If you don’t have it, you can start from the Grand Staircase Tower Floo, descend the stairs, and turn into the corridor with the One-Eyed Witch Passage statue. This spot is just below the Ravenclaw Tower.

Once you’re at the Faculty Tower Floo, head down the hall and climb up the winding staircase in the corner of the room. After one set, turn left to find a hallway of paintings, with the Fat Lady portrait at the end. This portrait hides the Gryffindor Common Room entrance! However, you can only enter if you’re in the Gryffindor House.

Below is a picture of a Hufflepuff attempting to enter the Gryffindor Common Room to show what happens when you use different characters to open the door. The painting won’t budge and will even give a snarky comment in return. A non-Gryffindor student can’t enter the room!

When you use a Gryffindor student, though, the painting will open, revealing a small passageway you can enter. Go into the tunnel to find your fellow house students.
