Each house in Hogwarts Legacy has a specific common room where you can meet and socialize with other students. The four houses – Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff – all have unique areas around the school where you’ll rest and find others in your house. However, Slytherin’s is the most challenging of the four rooms to spot for a few reasons. Where to Find the Slytherin Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy
The Slytherin Common room is an underground area located in the Hogwarts dungeons. While there are a couple of ways to access this place, the easiest is to use the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame and go down the nearby corridor or traverse down the Grand Staircase until you reach the very bottom.

If you don’t have the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame unlock, start at the Grand Staircase Tower one and trek down the stairs. Make your way past the Arithmancy doors and Ravenclaw tower and continue until you reach the very bottom. At the bottom, you’ll find a large wooden door that, once you open it, brings you to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame.
Once you reach the Floo Flame, enter the nearby room. You’ll find yourself in an area with a serpent floor and a large, empty wall. While this wall will stay this way for most people, Slytherin students will see a hidden doorway appear upon approaching it.
To give a quick example, below is a Hufflepuff student walking toward the wall. The doorway won’t appear even if you’ve completed the story. In other words, you can only step over the threshold and enter the common room if you are part of the Slytherin House.
On the other hand, a Slytherin student will see a massive serpent appear on the wall, revealing the hidden doorway. You are free to walk into this entrance, ascend the stairs and explore the common room.
