During Poppy’s friendship quest line in Hogwarts Legacy, you work together to help stop the growing poacher threat endangering magical beasts. As you head to Brocburrow and explore the nearby ruins alongside Poppy and Dorran, you’ll quickly encounter a puzzle with two light pillars and a bunch of symbols. How to Enter the Ruins During the A Bird in The Hand Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
You’ll see a few things when you first walk into the room. The first is the doorway that’ll open once you finish the puzzle, which features seven symbols, including two glowing ones, in a semi-circle. Another thing is the two pillars in the center of the room, surrounded by the same pictures on the door. The last thing is the latches on each side of the pillars, which you can move around to shine light onto the floor markings.
Your objective throughout this puzzle is to use Accio to move each pillar around the circle surrounding the center statue. By doing this, you’ll shine light onto the symbols, causing them to glow. The ones that glow on the floor must be the same as those on the door for it to open.
An example is in the picture below, with the two pillars highlighting the sun and key marks. You’ll want to stop the pillars opposite each symbol so the light can shine down and hit them.

Once you move the pillars into the correct positions, Poppy will happily tell you and Dorran that the doorway has opened, allowing you to continue the quest.
