You can also explore dungeons under the school’s Bell Tower, which has plenty of secrets. However, Cairn Dungeons are in an entirely different league, each filled with treasure, puzzles, and difficult enemies to fight. All Cairn Dungeon Locations in Hogwarts Legacy
You’ll find 13 different dungeons throughout your travels, with nearly every game region having at least one. They each range in complexity and size, but you can bet that almost every single one will have a mix of puzzles and enemies scattered throughout.

With that said, below is a list of every Cairn Dungeon in Hogwarts Legacy!
Located in the northernmost part of Hogsmeade Valley, just east of the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame. You’ll explore this dungeon alongside Sebastian in the main story quest, In the Shadow of the Mine.
Found in the eastern part of the Forbidden Forest, near the Horklump Hollow dungeon and west of Upper Hogsfield. You’ll encounter this dungeon shortly after discovering the Room of Requirement.
This next dungeon is located just on the border of the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Valley, southwest of Upper Hogsfield. You’ll find plenty of treasure and even more Horklump plants to gather juice from.
Jackdaw’s Tomb is a Cairn Dungeon you’ll encounter early on during the titular Jackdaw’s Rest main story quest. You’ll spot it in the Forbidden Forest alongside a Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame. It’s also north of the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame.
The Moonstone Garden Cairn Dungeon is located near the Feldcroft Catacomb one, just southwest of Irondale. You’ll enter this dungeon as you progress through Poppy’s friendship storyline.
The Collector’s Cave
Located near the border of North Hogwarts Region and Hogsmeade Valley, Collector’s Cave is a Cairn Dungeon just east of the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame. It’s also found west of Hogsmeade and north of the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame. You’ll enter this dungeon during the main story quest, The Helm of Urtkot.
Dale Family Tomb
Found in the easternmost part of Hogwarts Valley, you’ll spot the Dale Family Tomb Cairn Dungeon east of Brocburrow. This dungeon is one of the main areas you’ll explore during the Beeting a Curse quest.
In the easternmost part of Marunweem Lake is the Tower Tunnel dungeon, which you can find by traveling east from Marunweem town or southeast of the Coastal Mine.
Phoenix Mountain Cave
Phoenix Mountain Cave, found in Poidsear Coast, is a dungeon you’ll explore to find the phoenix magical beast for your Vivarium! You’ll find it east of Poidsear Castle and the Tomb of Treachery.
As the name suggests, the Feldcroft Catacomb Cairn Dungeon is located in the Feldcroft region. Found southeast of Feldcroft town, you’ll encounter this dungeon as you progress through Sebastian’s storyline.
The Mine’s Eye
The Mine’s Eye is a Hogwarts Valley dungeon with its dedicated Floo Flame. You’ll find it east of the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame and southeast of Keenbridge.
The Coastal Mine
The Coastal Mine is a dungeon in Marunweem Lake filled with goblins and machinery! You’ll find it northwest of the Tower Tunnel dungeon.
Tomb of Treachery
Last on this Hogwarts Legacy Cairn Dungeon list is the Tomb of Treachery, an area connecting the Coastal Cavern to Poidsear Coast. You’ll encounter it during the Cursed Tomb Treasure side quest but can also naturally find it as you travel through Coastal Cavern into Poidsear.
