If you haven’t been following along with the news from the official Pokemon Twitter account, then the above should bring you up to speed. 2020 is the Year of the Rat according to the Chinese Zodiac, which means that some appropriately themed Pokemon are going to make an appearance – amongst them will be the likes of Minccino.
However, we’re more keen for the likes of Darumaka, and we reckon that there’s going to be a whole subset of red-themed Pokemon that will appear alongside him! Darumaka already kinda looks like a red packet, so it’s probably pretty fitting. While we suspect that more Pokemon will be added to this list as the event rolls out, here are some critters that you’re going to see more of very soon as part of this same Pokemon GO Darukama Lunar New Year event on top of the ones already mentioned:
- Charmeleon
- Vulpix
- Parasect
- Voltorb
- Jynx
- Magmar
- Magikarp
- Flareon
- Slugma
- Wurmple
- Corphish
- Kricketot
- Foongus
Now that you know a little more about who else will appear alongside Pokemon GO’s Darumaka in the Lunar New Year event, you can prep yourself for what to expect and stock up on Candy for your chosen ‘Mon.
