One of these Team Rocket leaders is known as Arlo, and players will need to know the counters for him if they wish to have success in defeating Arlo. Pokemon GO Arlo Counters

Trainers will find that Arlo always uses a Scyther as one of his three Pokemon GO characters. However, there are six possible creatures that the Team Rocket leader can use when it comes to the other two characters on his team. Arlo’s second one can be a Magnezone, Crobat, or a Gyarados. The Team Rocket leader’s third character can then be either Scizor, Dragonite, or Charizard. As you can see, he has some fearsome characters he can use against you in battle.

However, there are plenty of counters that Pokemon GO Trainers can use to make sure they have every advantage possible when battling this particular Team Rocket leader. A team consisting of Melmetal, Mewtwo, and Blaziken is solid counters to any lineup that Arlo can put together. Players who have these three counters should make sure to use them if they are attempting to take down Arlo. 

Do not worry if you do not have all three of these characters at your disposal, as there are other counters you can use when it comes to each of the creatures Arlo can use. You can find these particular counters below:

  • Scyther – Melmetal, Golem, and Zapdos
  • Magnezone – Garchomp, Groudon, Blaziken, Swampert, Mamoswine, and Rhyperior
  • Crobat – Zapdos, Raikou, Melmetal, Regirock, Mewtwo, and Tyranitar
  • Gyarados – Zapdos, Raikou, Melmetal, and Hydreigon
  • Scizor – Blaziken, Entei, Dialga, Typhlosion, and Charizard
  • Dragonite – Dialga, Regice, Mewtwo, Metagross, and Zapdos
  • Charizard – Regirock, Golem, Zapdos, and Giratina
