How To Get Gold Nuggets and Ingots in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Since you need gold nuggets to craft ingots, figuring out where you can find them is a good place to start. There are three different locations you can explore to find gold nuggets in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Sunlit Plateau
  • Frosted Heights
  • Forgotten Lands

Similar to iron ore, you’ll find gold nuggets in the black rocks along cliffsides and hills. When you break these stones, there’s a chance gold will drop. However, you’re not guaranteed to find some, and you may encounter stone, coal or iron ore instead. Gold is rarer than these resources, meaning you’ll likely have to break several mining rocks before finding your first batch of gold.

Once you’ve gotten your hands on gold nuggets, grab some coal and make your way to a nearby crafting station. Head into Refined Material and select Gold Ingot. To make one, you need five gold nuggets and one coal. While you may have some lying around or gathered some coal during your gold nugget farming, be sure to head out and get some extra if you’re running low. When you’re ready, begin crafting your gold ingots.
