Where to Find Clay in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Clay is a crafting material found in three locations around Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Glade of Trust
  • Sunlit Plateau
  • Forgotten Lands

Typically, you’ll find the clay lying on the ground in these areas, allowing you to pick them up as you explore. Depending on how far you are in the game, focusing on places like the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau is your best call until you unlock the final region.

Since clay appears as a rather small item on the ground, it easily camouflages around the Glade of Trust’s river and Sunlit Plateau’s sand. Make sure you keep a close eye on these areas so you don’t miss them. Furthermore, while portions of each place are initially blocked off by obstacles, completing quests to upgrade your tools will help you break through these barriers and access more spawn spots.

If you’re not having the best of luck finding clay drops around these areas, don’t worry! An alternative method is to dig holes in these three areas. While not guaranteed, there’s a chance that each hole will net you some clay. Hanging out with a high-level friend also provides opportunities to get double the drops, making the process significantly faster if you need a lot of clay. Bring a buddy along and increase their level a couple of times if you use this strategy.
