Disney Dreamlight Valley Worms Eel

How to Find Worms in Disney Dreamlight Valley

He buried an eel and got coconuts

After Maui joins your Disney Dreamlight Valley village, he’ll explain his experiences with burying eels and creating coconut trees. While this primarily serves as a throwback to a line from the movie, it’s certainly interesting enough that your character decides to help Maui do this. However, before you can catch eels, you need some worms as bait! If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to find worms in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Find Worms in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The tricky part about finding worms is that they are an uncommon, unique resource that spawns in one location. More specifically, you’ll find worms in dirt mounds around the ponds of Peaceful Meadow. If you attempt to find them under sand piles or dirt mounts in other areas, you won’t find any worms. Stick to Peaceful Meadow and dig around until you find some!

While digging around, you may find yourself obtaining coal or night shards instead. Unfortunately, this mainly boils down to luck since worms are not guaranteed to spawn even when you’re digging in Peaceful Meadow.

The main way to make this process easier is to bring a friend with you with a role assigned to digging. If they’re high level, you have a greater chance of gaining a duplicate drop whenever you dig up an item. They’d duplicate your worm in this case, meaning you’ll need fewer dirt mounds for the quest.

While the advice above will help, you’ll still have to rely on luck to find all three worms. Once you have them and some softwood, you can head back to Maui to progress through the quest!
