Forest spirits are small, floating creatures that appear throughout the Mt. Komorebi region. They can also appear in various colors, with the first ones I encountered showing up as golden-yellow spirits. I’ve also seen them appear in green and blue variants with no noticeable behavioral differences.

However, while they do appear somewhat randomly, there is a specific activity you have to do. Rather than finding forest spirits through skiing or snowboarding, you’ll have to go hiking for a little while.

Forest Spirits on a Hiking Trail Sims 4 Snowy Escape

You can find forest spirits as you go hiking through Mt. Komorebi. It doesn’t matter which route you take or if you just hike around, as long as you’re moving around and taking in the sights. Along the way, you can randomly find these forest spirits on the trail, with which you can interact and make a wish. Just make sure you also buy some anti-wildlife sprays from the Bits’n Bobbles vending machines to protect yourself during the hikes!

When you make a wish with the forest spirits, you’ll usually gain a positive moodlet and, in some cases, items or money as a bonus reward. You can also collect them to use as decorations in your home, but doing this has a chance of failing, giving you a tense moodlet instead.
