Where to Find Hiking Trails in The Sims 4: Snowy Escape

Fortunately, looking for hiking trails in The Sims 4 won’t require you to run around the map searching for individual routes. Instead, there is one particular item you’ll have to interact with to begin your hike. We’ll have to start at Yukimatsu, the coldest region of this area. To make things a little easier, we’ll start at 5-1-1 Kiyomatsu.

Once you’re at the Yukimatsu lot, head toward the nearby informational board. A second board is just past this along the pathway of street lamps. Interacting with this second one will give you various hiking options. That’s right; this is your destination! There are a few ways to prepare beforehand, though.

How to Handle Wildlife Attacks During Hikes

Selecting one of these options will lead to your Sim walking along a path toward your chosen landmark. After reaching the spot, you can take pictures and selfies before returning. However, during your hike, you may get attacked by hornets, centipedes, and other creatures. You’ll want to bring along some repellants to deal with this!

To buy repellants, head to the three vending machines near the ski slopes and select the Bits’n Bobbles one. You’ll find options like the Anti-Arthropod Spray, Buzz-Off Canister, and the Crawling Critter Powder, among others, that you can bring along for the journey.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 through the official website. If you’d like to learn more about the game, check out Everything Added in the Bathroom Clutter Kit and Can You Play Sims 4 on Steam Deck?
