The town of Moonlight Falls holds many real estate opportunities for Sims, whether that means moving into an existing home or starting from scratch on an empty lot. The existing homes of Moonlight Falls run the gamut from modest to mansion, and several are already hosting pre-existing Sim families. If you’d like to try out life as one of these current clans, such as the Grimms or Crumplebottoms, a simple click after starting a new game is all it takes.

Should you decide to start a new household with one of the provided homes, you can choose to either move into an empty house or pay a little extra for a furnished abode. You may need to splash a few extra Simeoleons to buy objects necessary for specific careers, hobbies, or lifestyles, but you always have the basic necessities, such as a bed, toilet, and fridge.

Of course, with Build Mode, you can erect a dream home either at the beginning of a new adventure or at any point later in the life cycle. When you start a new game, you have a somewhat limited budget, but things change with time and effort. If, as either a pre-existing or new Sim, you generate enough wealth through career or craft, you can choose to upgrade an existing, custom-built house or move into one of Moonlight Falls many pre-crafted homes.

Witch’s Cover

Each house has two prices. The first price is for an unfurnished house—no objects within. For a few extra Simoleons, you can buy a furnished house that includes at least the basic amenities. Some of the more expensive furnished houses, however, feature luxury objects.
