If you’re tired of hopping into Disney Dreamlight Valley and looking at all the animal bones in Sunlit Plateau, there’s some good news for you. As you progress through Scar’s friendship quest line, you’ll find several missions tasking you with breaking these bones to help revitalize the region. Since your current shovel is too weak to do this, though, you’ll have to gather some materials to improve it. How to Find Lion’s Claws in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The main hint the game gives you regarding this crafting material is that you’ll find them along the cliffsides of the Sunlit Plateau. However, looking around the region, you’ll notice several spots resembling cliffsides. You’ll want to shift your focus to the northern parts of the area.

From the entrance to Vitalys Caves, travel along the northern stone wall until you reach the Elephant Graveyard, where Scar resides. Along the way, look for sparkling dirt mounds that you can dig using your Royal Shovel. These dig spots drop Lion’s Claws! The path from Vitalys Caves to the Elephant Graveyard will have two dirt mounds, while the graveyard has the other three.

Once you have all five Lion’s Claws, you can take them alongside your other crafting materials to make the Royal Shovel upgrade!
