How to Make Sushi in Disney Dreamlight Valley: All Sushi Types

While there are several sushi types in Disney Dreamlight Valley, we’ll start with the easiest, simply known as “Sushi”.

Detailed below is the recipe for Sushi:

  • 1 Rice
  • Any Fish

Immediately, you’ll notice it says “Any Fish” rather than a specific one. This is because, unlike other recipes that call for certain ingredients, you can use any fish in this one! Whether you want to toss in a herring or anglerfish is entirely up to you, as long as it’s a fish. However, since shrimp, lobster, and crab are classed as “seafood”, they won’t work here. You also don’t want to use salmon if you’re looking to make regular sushi. I’ll get into more detail later on this.

Rice, on the other hand, is used in every sushi dish in the game. You can buy it from Goofy’s Stall in the Glade of Trust. It takes 50 minutes to grow, so plant it before heading off and waiting for it to finish. Once you harvest it, you can toss it into a cooking pot with your chosen fish and make some sushi.

Alongside the normal sushi recipe, there are several other sushi and maki dishes you can create in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Fugu Sushi: Fugu, Rice, Seaweed
  • Maguro Sushi: Tuna, Seaweed, Rice, Ginger
  • Sake Sushi: Salmon, Rice
  • Kappa Maki: Seaweed, Cucumber, Rice
  • Maki: Seaweed, Rice, Any Fish
  • Sake Maki: Rice, Seaweed, Salmon
  • Tekka Maki: Rice, Seaweed, Soya, Tuna
