With March 26 seemingly just around the corner for those with the magical gift of patience, there really isn’t that long to wait until the latest wave of Borderlands 3 DLC drops. Yes, we’re talking all about marriage and tentacles this time, which means that we’re going to have to bring guns to a wedding and that those guns better be powerful. However, any Vault Hunter worth their salt would want every advantage possible in a firefight, so enter the Borderlands 3 Elemental Projector artifact. Here’s how to get one for yourself.
Borderlands 3 Elemental Projector Guide
So, why might you want to get your paws on an Elemental Projector? Hell, it’s not even one of those super coveted rare items in the game that has a cool special weapon effect that’s also a literature Easter Egg. That being said, it puts in a hell of a lot of work despite being a weapon drop of the common variety. The Elemental Projector is an artifact which has the ability to grant you three of the bonuses that we’ve listed out below, which is exactly why we think it’s so damn good:
- Elemental damage
- Fight for your life duration
- Health regeneration
- Weapon reload speed
- Weapon magazine size
- Weapon-type specific damage
- Movement speed
Even just one of those from a common artifact would be nice, but the fact that you get to have three? We can only imagine how handy elemental damage and weapon-type specific damage can be if you’re gunning for (pardon the pun) a particular build based on shredding enemies with a certain kind of damage, so that would definitely push you over the edge into lethality. Now, the important part – actually getting an Elemental Projector. Unfortunately, it doesn’t drop from any one boss specifically – more accurately, there’s no one boss that has an increased chance to drop it, and it essentially could pop out of any loot source. However, as always, we would recommend farming Graveward as a viable strategy. Our guide to taking that boss down might help!
Now that you have our Borderlands 3 Elemental Projector guide to hand, it should be a little easier for you to get this coveted item. Sure, it’s not an incredibly rare Legendary, but we reckon that it puts in an invaluable amount of work so hopefully you’ve been persistent enough to wait all the pain out for some pleasure.
