Where to Find Mandragoras in Monster Hunter Wilds

Mandragoras are used to craft one of the best healing items in Monster Hunter Wilds. That’s why it is a sought-after resource even in the endgame. However, they are pretty scarce and hard to find.

Even when you know where to find them, stockpiling a few will be a struggle unless you have a decent farming strategy. Here are the tricks I use to find Mandragoras easily in Monster Hunter Wilds

Best Spots to Farm Mandragoras in Monster Hunter Wilds

Mandragoras spawn in several spots in Scarlet Forest, Iceshard Cliffs, and Ruins of Wyveria. They are quite scarce because there are only a few spawns in each area, and they don’t exactly spawn all the time when you approach them.

However, if you cycle through all the spawns, you should find at least a couple of Mandragoras. The trick is to open the map and go through the filter section. When you open the map, you can see a little box on the lower-left corner of your screen.

Using the D-pad will let you navigate all the menus and look for the resource filter. Fast travel will be the default, as it is the most used one. Once you find the resource filter, a window will open, as seen in the image above. Look for the Mandragora resource and hover over it.

The map automatically goes to the nearest Mandragora spawn, and if you press the left or right on the D-pad while hovering over the Mandragora, it will go through all the spawns in the area.

Mandragoras only spawn in Scarlet Forest, Iceshard Cliffs, and Ruins of Wyveria. The best spot is Scarlet Forest if you want a lot of spawns, but if you want a more concentrated area, Ruins of Wyveria would be better. What Are Mandragoras Used For in Monster Hunter Wilds?

Crafting Max Potions and Immunizers each need a Mandragora. Max Potions needs one Catalyst and one Mandragora for one. Since Max Potions heal you for your whole health bar, it is one of the best healing items in the game.

Immunizers need one Mandragora and Bitterbug Broth, which is also a hunting item that increases your natural health regeneration, and it is also used for crafting Ancient Potions, Might Pills, and Adamant Pills.
