Where the Hell is Little Devil Inside? – Release Date and More

When is Little Devil Inside coming out?

It was just a little over a year ago on October 27, 2021 that Little Devil Inside provided the grand finale of the PlayStation State of Play, which highlighted upcoming third party titles for PS4 and PS5 consoles. A nearly five minute long narrated trailer demonstrated the upcoming RPG’s highly unique art style, exciting blend of action and survival, fascinating supernatural meets Victorian era open world, as well as some short cinematics and gameplay elements that quickly skyrocketed Little Devil Inside to the top of many gamers’ wish lists for 2022.

However, fast forwarding to the present day, the vast majority of the other titles shown in 2021’s final State of Play (Bugsnax: The Isle of Bugsnax DLC, Death’s Door, Deathverse: Let It Die, First Class Trouble, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, King of Fighters XV, Star Ocean The Divine Force, and We Are OFK) have all been released. Unfortunately, Little Devil Inside presently stands alongside only Kartrider Drift, as the two games from that State of Play to still remain in development, begging the question, “Where the Hell is Little Devil Inside?” Here is everything we currently know about when Little Devil Inside will release and more information.

Where is Little Devil Inside?

Our last glimpse of Neostream Interactive’s long awaited title was during the PlayStation State of Play on that fateful October day in 2021. While in the past, Little Devil Inside’s developers have used Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, as the means to promote their upcoming game, it has been two years since Neostream’s last Facebook and YouTube posts, and a whopping five years of radio silence on Twitter. To make matters worse, the game’s website is largely devoid of information only stating, “In time, this website will be updated with info from the dev team as well as general updates on what’s happening inside the team.”

Simply put, reliable information Little Devil Inside is nowhere to be found at the moment. So far, the only decent resource with any recent news on Little Devil Inside has been PlayStation’s YouTube channel, which presented trailers for the game in 2020 and 2021.

The History of Little Devil Inside

Little Devil Inside has been a project a long time in the making. In April 2015, Little Devil Inside made its way into the gaming consciousness through the introduction of its Kickstarter to help fund the insurgent indie title. In the seven and half years since its introduction, Little Devil Inside’s Kickstarter garnered 5,126 backers, who pledged over AU$300,000 to help the project. There have also been a number of videos and trailers spanning from the project’s earliest days in 2015 to the PlayStation State of Play in 2021, but so much about the project is still unknown.

When is Little Devil Inside Releasing?

Although the PlayStation State of Play gave Little Devil Inside a 2022 release window, while other sources reported a rumored fourth quarter launch target, it is starting to feel increasingly unlikely that we will play Neostream’s upcoming RPG this year. For now, it unfortunately appears that Little Devil Inside is stuck in development Hell for the foreseeable future, and a 2022 release seems like a pipe dream at this point. However, Prima Games will continue to monitor the upcoming indie timed exclusive for PS4 and PS5, providing all the news, guides, features, and reviews on Little Devil Inside.
