Since Highland Stable is far south with only a few nearby shrines, your best approach is to follow the main roads. When I first traveled here, I used Popla Foothills Skyview Tower to fly toward the road, running the rest of the way. If you have activated other nearby shrines, such as Utsushok or Ishokin Shrines, you can also use them to save time before making your way to the stable.

Alternatively, if you’re unfamiliar with this region and have a few shrines unlocked, you can also use Kamizun Shrine in the southern part of Hyrule Field. From there, head directly south over the bridge and follow the path as usual. This route takes longer but will work if your main goal is to head straight to Highland Stable.

Upon arriving at Highland Stable, you’ll encounter several notable NPCs. One of them is the wandering merchant, Beedle, who sells various critters that can be used for brewing elixirs. You’ll also see Blynne, who encourages people to participate in his horse riding contest.

If you’ve started Potential Princess Sightings to obtain the Froggy Armor set, you’ll also spot Penn here at coordinates (0499, -3444, 0047). When you speak to Penn, he’ll reveal that the locals have spread rumors of hearing Zelda’s voice coming from Fural Plain, beginning the “An Eerie Voice” side adventure.

Another important character is Padok, the stable’s owner, who you will find at the front counter. You can talk to Padok to support the Stable Association, earning you one Pony Point you can redeem for rewards. You can also check out various stable services, including registering wild horses and purchasing a night’s stay at the inn, with prices ranging from 20 to 50 rupees.
