So you’ve been enjoying your time with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and you don’t really want the fun to end? Well, we get it. When Does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 1 End?
You may remember that we’ve mentioned briefly that there was an extension of the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare because, well, it was ridiculously popular. Well, that’s not the only reason – the primary one is that there is still planned content for Season 1 that has yet to make its way down the pipeline. As such, Infinity Ward isn’t super keen on the season ending until players have had a chance to experience that content for themselves.
As such, the new projected end date according to an Infinity Ward announcement which we’ve duplicated below for you is going to be February 11.
“We’re extending Season One!
“Over the next few weeks, a host of new items and challenges will arrive, including an in-game Challenge to earn the new Crossbow weapon, more remixed game modes, new playlists, and more in the Store to discover. To make room for all that activity, we are making a one-time extension of Season One — it’s now ending on February 11. During that time, there will be 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X Tier Progression to help you finish up your Officer Ranks and Tiers, and get you ready for an exciting Season Two!”
