Before we dive into the Remote Raid Pass boss rotation, we do want to remind our readers that COVID-19 continues to spread and be a threat to the health of millions. As new symptoms and repercussions are being uncovered, it’s important to take the necessary safety precautions in your daily routine and that includes on-the-go games like Pokemon GO. The team at Niantic has implemented measures to make it easier to play from home and we ask our readers to please be mindful in their adventures.

Now … onto the bosses! The REmote Raiding inclusion is ready to roll and players that are level 5 and higher can raid it out safely from home! The catch is that the raid needs to be in the “Nearby” radar, so if you live in the sticks there may be a small problem.

Niantic also revealed that they will have Shinies also hiding about, making the need to raid all the more higher for those truly with the goal of “gotta catch ’em all.” Even more events will be coming throughout the next couple of months as well as even more features for the mobile Pokemon game. For now though, it’s time to get that Darkrai!

Being able to raid remotely is a major game changer and not just because of quarantine. This adds a competitive edge to the game that is easily accessible to all players, not just those that are willing and able to go out on a hunt. Players with disabilities, older players, children – everyone can harness their inner raiding trainer and it’s awesome.

Pokemon GO is now available on mobile and tablet devices. The Darkrai raid is available now, so go out there (or stay in there) and get those Legendaries, be safe, and keep that Pokemon fandom alive!
