Now that the Lunar New Year event is in full swing in Pokemon GO, you’re probably wanting to efficiently split your time between the raids, hatching Pokemon for your growing collection, and generally picking up everything that the seasonal festivities has to offer. We’ve got a list of the 7KM egg hatches below for your reference and some tips on which ones we reckon are the most worth your precious time.

  • Darumaka
  • Foongus
  • Magby
  • Magikarp
  • Riolu
  • Shuckle
  • Vulpix
  • Wurmple

We’re unsurprised by the overwhelmingly scarlet color theme here of these 7KM egg hatches; it’s the Lunar New Year after all. However, like anything in the incubator minigame, the round boy that we’ve been looking forward to is just one of eight possible Pokemon that can hatch. If you’re super desperate for a Darumaka, you’re probably going to have to kiss a fair few Wurmples to actually get there.

Vulpix and Foongus aren’t difficult to come across and the fact that the other critters in this particular distance pool aren’t particularly rare either has us a little miffed. That being said, we reckon we’re still going to be gunning for Darumaka in the festive spirit of things so we’re gonna lace up our running shoes and get going.

Now that you’ve got our list of the Pokemon GO Lunar New Year event 7KM eggs, figuring out whether or not you want to take a crack at some of these should be a little easier. In the meantime, why not check out some of the other tips and tricks that we’ve put together for you?
